"The Colt" Model 3696 Rotary Composter

3-foot diameter and 8-feet long, 1.5 cubic yard capacity, HDPE & Stainless steel construction and insulated throughout; this has all the features of our larger Rotaries. Our unique rocker design affords users with unparallel the ease in loading and unloading and has built-in temperature data collection. The chassis is equipped with 5 casters and 4 swivel jacks makes moving and setup easy. This model is for the serious home composter, or for schools or wineries. One end opens completely for unloading or cleaning,  This is truly the Mercedes of small Composters!

The Colt Economics

The Colt can handle the bedding residuals of three horses. A horse generates 50 lbs of bedding per day or 3 cubic feet. If a generator were to dispose of this material he would call in a 10 yard container and be charged $140 per month.. If you were to purchase the Colt for $7,500 and put down 20% ($1,500) and got a loan for 6 years at 7.5% interest the payments would be $103.74. A savings of $36.26 per month or $2,610.72 over the 6 year period. This does not include offsets to your taxes caused by depreciating your asset or the value of the compost produced. You can bury your money in the ground or have a machine that will last forever while you save money. Who knows how much disposal costs will rise and how much it will cost to get a permitted facility to deal with the equine residuals.
